HayMay Tech ("we", "us", "our") operates Monad Mahjong ("the Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. DATA WE COLLECT
1.1 Data You Provide
- Display name (if you choose to set one)
- Apple ID or Google account (if you choose to link for account recovery)
1.2 Data Collected Automatically
- Anonymous player ID (assigned by Unity Gaming Services)
- Game progress (levels completed, stars earned, high scores)
- PVP statistics (MMR rating, win/loss record, race scores, season wins)
- Leaderboard scores and rankings
- Device country/region (derived from device locale or IP address for regional leaderboards)
- Session timestamps and play duration
- App version and device type
- In-app purchase history (processed by Apple/Google, we only receive confirmation of purchase status)
1.3 Data We Do NOT Collect
- Real name (unless you enter it as your display name)
- Email address (unless shared through Apple/Google sign-in; if shared, used only for account identification)
- Precise location or GPS data
- Photos, contacts, messages, or other personal files
- Browsing history
- Advertising identifiers
- Data from other apps on your device
2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use collected data to:
- Save and restore your game progress across sessions
- Display your scores on public leaderboards
- Match you with opponents of similar skill level (MMR-based matchmaking)
- Provide regional competition features (country/state leaderboards)
- Prevent cheating and ensure fair play
- Improve game balance through aggregate, anonymized analytics
- Process and verify in-app purchases
We do NOT use your data to:
- Serve advertisements
- Build advertising profiles
- Sell or rent to third parties
- Send marketing emails or push notifications (unless you opt in)
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use the following third-party services to operate the Game:
3.1 Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies)
- Purpose: Player authentication, leaderboards, cloud save, matchmaking
- Data shared: Anonymous player ID, scores, game progress, region

3.2 Apple (Sign in with Apple)
- Purpose: Optional account linking and recovery
- Data shared: Only what you authorize during Apple sign-in
- Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real email

3.3 Google (Google Play Games)
- Purpose: Optional account linking and recovery (Android)
- Data shared: Only what you authorize during Google sign-in

3.4 Apple App Store / Google Play Store
- Purpose: In-app purchase processing
- Data shared: Purchase transactions (we receive only purchase confirmation)
- Respective store privacy policies apply
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
- Game data is stored locally on your device and backed up to Unity Gaming Services cloud infrastructure
- Cloud data is linked to your anonymous player ID
- If you link Apple or Google, your cloud data becomes recoverable across devices
- Unity Gaming Services uses industry-standard encryption and security practices
- We do not maintain our own servers or databases beyond what Unity provides
5. LEADERBOARDS AND PUBLIC INFORMATION
- If you participate in leaderboards, your display name and scores are visible to all players
- If you remain anonymous, a system-generated name (e.g., "Player#1234") is displayed
- Your country/region may be visible on regional leaderboards
- PVP race results (win/loss, scores) are visible to your opponents
6. DATA RETENTION
- Game progress and leaderboard data are retained as long as your account exists
- Weekly leaderboards reset automatically on schedule
- Daily duel scores reset every 24 hours
- If you do not play for 12 months, your leaderboard entries may be removed from active boards
- Cloud save data is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion
7. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to:
7.1 Access Your Data
- Your game data is visible in-game (stats, scores, rankings)
- Contact us for a full export of your data
7.2 Delete Your Data
- Uninstalling the Game removes all local data
- To delete cloud data, contact us at support@haymaytech.com
- We will process deletion requests within 30 days
7.3 Opt Out
- You can play without setting a display name (anonymous mode)
- You can play without linking Apple or Google
- You can decline regional leaderboard participation by not granting location access
7.4 Withdraw Consent
- You can unlink Apple/Google accounts by contacting us
- You can request removal from leaderboards
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Monad Mahjong is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
- Children under 13 should have parental permission before setting a display name or linking a social account
- If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly
- Parents may contact us at support@haymaytech.com to review or request deletion of their child's data
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own through Unity Gaming Services infrastructure. Unity maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through an in-game notice. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
11. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to know what personal information is collected
- Right to request deletion of personal information
- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
12. EUROPEAN RESIDENTS (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR:
- Right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data
- Right to restrict or object to processing
- Right to data portability
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (providing game services) and consent (optional account linking).
